Method

First

Soften your carrots and onion in some oil, in a large saucepan for five minutes. When well sweated, add the lamb mince and brown for a few minutes. Stir in the tomato puree, worcestershire sauce and paprika, along with some seasoning. Add the stock and simmer gently for 40 minutes.

Second

Heat your oven to 180C. Make your mash by boiling the potatoes in salted water for 15 minutes, or until soft. Drain and mash with milk and butter, then leave to cool.

Third

Put the mince and veg mixture into an ovenproof dish, then top with the mash. Bake for 25 minutes, or until golden. Serve with your favourite greens.
