What you'll need:

Time: 30 mins
Serves: Makes 4 big burgers
Method
First
Cook the onions in a large frying pan and some oil to soften. Add the ginger, garlic, and chopped chilli, and cook for a further 3-4 minutes. Transfer to a plate.
Second
Put the mince in a mixing bowl along with the onion mix and all the remaining ingredients, and mix well with your hands until smooth. Shape into four big burgers.
Third
Heat up a large griddle pan, and brush the burgers with a little more oil. Cook for four minutes on each side (for medium), then leave to rest for a few minutes. When ready to serve, construct your burgers in a bun, with whatever sauces or pickles etc you fancy.
