Ingredients
Method
- 3 x 500g T-bone steaks
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tsp sea salt flakes
- 2 tsp sugar
- 1 tbsp black peppercorns
- 1 tbsp dried chilli flakes
- ½ tbsp garlic powder
- 1 tbsp espresso powder
- Grind the sugar, salt, chilli flakes, peppercorns, coffee and garlic in a pestle and mortar. Pat the steaks dry and massage the ground mixture all over the meat. Leave to marinate for about 15 mins.
- Brush the steaks with oil and grill for 5 mins on each side or to your liking. Set aside to rest for 10 mins, then serve with rosemary potatoes or a big pile of chips and your favourite sauce.
