We are looking for a senior marketer who can set strategy and then execute it themselves.

You will own the Good Pair Days brand and growth engine end to end. You will run campaigns, build creative, launch experiments, and shape how the brand shows up online and in real life, including our wine bar and store.

About the Role

This is a senior role with scope, autonomy, and compensation to match the level of ownership.

We are looking for a Head of Brand and Growth who can think strategically and execute relentlessly. You will decide what matters most for the brand and the business, and help make it happen yourself.

This is not a role for someone who only manages or briefs. You will be hands on across performance marketing, creative, lifecycle campaigns, and brand experiences. You will be expected to use modern tools, including AI, to move faster, test more, and raise the quality bar.

You will own brand and growth end to end across acquisition, retention, partnerships, and the marketing strategy for our wine bar and store.


What You’ll Do

Brand and Offer Strategy

  • Set the brand and offer strategy, then personally drive it into execution
  • Own welcome pack and offer storytelling, including iconic first impressions
  • Lead reward design across our full range of customer rewards
  • Source and curate samples for monthly boxes in collaboration with wine and operations teams
  • Ensure clarity, consistency, and quality across all brand touchpoints

Performance and Growth Marketing

  • Own performance marketing strategy and execution
  • Personally run ad campaigns from setup to optimisation and reporting
  • Write ad scripts, hooks, headlines, and landing page messaging
  • Produce and iterate creative using modern workflows, including AI powered tools
  • Test quickly, learn fast, and scale what works
  • Own growth outcomes across acquisition, retention, and AOV, with clear accountability for results

Retention, Seasonal, and Lifecycle Marketing

  • Set the retention and lifecycle strategy, then build and launch the campaigns yourself
  • Own the seasonal marketing calendar focused on retention and AOV
  • Execute campaigns such as Advent Calendars, Lucky Dips, Sip and Scratch, and key holidays
  • Continuously improve campaigns based on data and customer behaviour

Social Media and Brand Presence

  • Set social media strategy and actively contribute to execution
  • Plan, publish, and experiment with content regularly
  • Use fast, lightweight tools to create and ship content without friction
  • Build a brand presence that feels confident, human, and distinctive

Partnerships and Brand Growth

  • Identify and lead strategic partnerships that drive real impact
  • Pitch, launch, and manage partnership campaigns end to end
  • Prioritise smart, scrappy collaborations over slow, over produced ones

Wine Bar and Store Marketing Strategy

You will own the marketing and brand strategy for our wine bar and store.

This includes:

  • Planning and executing social content and street level activations
  • Creating store communications such as signage, windows, menus, and in venue messaging
  • Designing tastings, pairing experiences, and education workshops
  • Planning and delivering flagship store events
  • Running meet the maker events and collaborations
  • Working closely with store staff to test ideas, iterate, and improve experiences

Team Leadership

You will lead a small, capable team across creative, content, marketing operations, and store execution.

You will also be part of the core GPD leadership circle, working closely across wine, tech, ops, creative, and customer success.

  • A senior marketer who enjoys both strategy and execution
  • Comfortable running campaigns, writing copy, launching ads, and analysing results yourself
  • Already using AI and modern tools to work faster and raise quality
  • Commercially sharp with strong creative instincts
  • Calm, pragmatic, and decisive
  • Energised by ownership, pace, and accountability

This Role Is Not For You If

  • You prefer managing agencies over doing the work yourself
  • You want a narrow remit rather than end to end ownership
  • You are uncomfortable running ads, launching campaigns, or publishing content personally
  • You need large teams, long timelines, or heavy process to do your best work
  • You enjoy strategy decks more than shipping and iterating
  • You are not curious about new tools or changing how you work
  • You are looking for a safe, slow moving environment
