We're bringing happy hour to GPD Crown Street, and you're the first to hear about it. For the next few weeks, from 3-5pm every weekday, we're serving selected wines by the glass at $9 for members and $12 for non-members. On the menu we have sparkling, white, rosé, red – even a chilled red, so there's something for whatever mood you're in.

Come in straight from work and we'll have a glass waiting.

Pull up a stool and meet the legends behind the labels.

Each session includes free tastings! Seating is first come, best served.

🗓️ Wednesday, 5 August | 5:30pm – 7:00pm | Windowrie Wines
The O'Dea family have been farming near Canowindra in the Central Ranges since 1987. Nearly four decades of certified organic viticulture, some of the oldest productive vines in the Cowra region, and a genuine commitment to letting the fruit do the talking. Windowrie is one of those producers that quietly gets on with it year after year, and the wines show it. John O'Dea joins us on the night – come along and try the range.

🗓️ Wednesday, 12 August | 5:30pm – 7:00pm | Allevare
Lucy Kendall and Alysha Moscatt make wine together in West Gippsland under their label Allevare – which means to grow and nurture in Sicilian (a nod to Alysha's Sicilian heritage). Lucy's spent over a decade making wine across Australia, France and Chile. Alysha came to it from a career as a florist and fell in love with the vineyard her family has in Ripplebrook. Together they farm sustainably and make honest, expressive wines that really reflect where they come from. Come meet them both and try the range.

🗓️ Wednesday, 26 August | 5:30pm – 7:00pm | Sherrah Wines
Alex Sherrah started out with a degree in organic chemistry, travelled the world, came home broke, and somehow ended up as one of McLaren Vale's most interesting winemakers. Sherrah Wines is his small-batch label – built around the varieties he thinks suit the Vale best. Chenin Blanc, Fiano, Nero d'Avola, Grenache, and a Pet Nat for good measure. Come meet Alex and try them all!

Found a favourite? Stick around. While the maker's in the room, we've put a few things on special.

Bottles at takeaway price. These bottles aren't normally on our shelves. The maker's brought them in just for tonight. Take one home, or drink it in at the same shelf price. 

Linger over a glass. These maker wines aren't normally available by the glass. We didn't want to tease you with a taste and send you home. So on Meet the Maker nights, any wine on the tasting lineup is yours by the glass at a special price.

Meet Funky Fridays. Every week we're opening 2-3 bottles that colour outside the lines. Orange wine. Pet-nat. Skin-contact. Unexpected grapes, styles and regions you probably weren't planning on falling for.

We’re pouring a mystery wine - no label, no hints. Come in and try the wine, and if you guess the grape and where it’s from, the glass is on us. Miss it? It’s your shout this time, but come back and try again next week.
