Blue Cheese Biscuits
Blue Cheese Biscuits

Ingredients

Method

  • 150g flour
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 80g blue cheese, crumbled
  • 100g butter
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 4 tbsp black sesame seeds
  • Pour the flour, salt, cheese and butter into a food processor and pulse until it resembles breadcrumbs. With the motor still running, add the egg yolk and whizz to make a ball of dough. Divide the dough into two, and roll each piece into a sausage shape. Scatter the seeds on a baking tray and roll the dough sausages in the seeds until coated. Chill for 1 hour in the fridge.
  • Preheat the oven to 160C. Slice the chilled dough into 8mm rounds, then place the biscuits on a lined tray and bake for 13-15 mins or until golden. Leave to cool on a wire rack, then serve with charcuterie, cheese, and chutney.
