Method

  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • ½ onion, finely chopped
  • 1 chopped garlic clove
  • 1 green chilli, chopped
  • 1 tbsp red wine vinegar
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 3 big tomatoes, chopped
  • Salt and pepper
  • 200g ready-made gnocchi, cooked to pack instructions
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • Make your sauce by gently frying the onion and garlic in the oil until softened. Add the chilli, sugar, and vinegar, mix well, and then tip in the chopped tomatoes and cook until they’re broken down and mushy. Season well. Place the cooked gnocchi in a serving bowl, then drizzle with oil and seasoning, and pour your sauce over the top. Simple, yet oh-so delicious!
