Korean Spicy Cheesy Chips



  • 600g frozen french fries
  • 50g grated parmesan
  • 50g grated cheddar
  • 1 tsp garlic salt
  • 125g mayo
  • 85g gochujang paste
  • 2 tsp rice vinegar
  • 2 sliced spring onions
  • Small bunch of coriander, chopped
  • 2 tbsp toasted sesame seeds
  • 1 tbsp Korean red pepper flakes
  • Bake the fries for 15 mins at 220C, then toss well with a spatula and sprinkle with the cheeses and garlic salt. Bake for another 10 mins, or until crisp and golden.
  • Mix the mayo, vinegar and gochujang. Drizzle the mayo mixture all over the hot fries, alternating with scatterings of sesame seeds, pepper flakes, spring onions and coriander. Drizzle again with the spicy mayo to finish, then serve as a tempting snack or a side to a Korean BBQ feast.
