Ingredients
Method
- 500g penne, cooked al dente
- 200ml passata
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 4 basil leaves
- 2 sliced garlic cloves
- 200ml cream
- 1 shot of vodka
- 60g butter
- 1 tbsp pepper
- Salt
- 3 tbsp grated parmesan
- Make the sauce by gently frying the garlic in some olive oil in a saucepan. Add the passata, season well, and add the basil leaves. Cook for 10 minutes.
- Melt the butter in a large frying pan and add the pepper and cooked pasta. Toss well to coat the pasta in butter, and over a high heat, pour in the tomato sauce and cream. Add the vodka, toss again, and turn the heat off. Sprinkle with parmesan and serve immediately.
