- 2 tbsp butter
- 2 crushed garlic cloves
- 2 tsp garam masala spice mix
- 160g baby spinach leaves
- 500g halloumi
- 4 plain naan
- Melt the butter in a pan with the garam masala and garlic. Chop the spinach and add to the pan, then cook to wilt. Season well. Cut the cheese into cubes and grill the tops until crisp and golden. Heat the naans under the grill to warm through, then spread with the wilted spinach mixture. Place the grilled halloumi onto the bread, and cut the bread to fit the cheese. Secure with cocktail sticks and serve still warm.
